Some of the nonsurgical procedures that address the concerns patients have about their faces and bodies can take time to produce the desired results. So it helps to develop a treatment calendar to ensure you’re ready for the big day. The details will vary, depending on the specific concerns a person may have, but here’s a general outline showing procedures that might be considered, and how long before a wedding — or any other social event — they should be scheduled.
At Least 3 Months Before Wedding

We customize this skin treatment to address a range of conditions, including age and sun spots, facial veins, or other skin discoloration. The gentle photo rejuvenation procedure requires little to no downtime, but at least 2 treatments are typically needed before improvements appear. It’s best to plan on multiple sessions, so be sure to schedule your first appointment months before the event.
CoolSculpting®
Even brides and grooms who exercise and watch what they eat may have stubborn fat bulges that cause them to squeeze into wedding gowns or tuxedos. CoolSculpting can help minimize fat in a number of areas of the body and under the chin. We have a range of CoolSculpting applicators at our Des Moines med spa, so we can treat the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, arms, back, and a double chin. Results appear gradually as the body rids itself of the targeted fat cells, and many patients choose to have more than 1 treatment.

BOTOX Cosmetic
If you haven’t seen members of your extended family or friends in many years, you may want to minimize forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet that can make you appear older than you are. BOTOX injections take about 3 to 5 days to show the initial results, and the improvements continue for about another 2 weeks, lasting for up to 4 months.
