About VISIA Skin Analysis

VISIA helps you understand the condition of your skin—at the surface and underneath. The system assesses the severity of a variety of common skin concerns, including:

• Wrinkles

• Visible spots

• Enlarged pores

• Redness from inflammation or spider veins

• Texture

• UV damage beneath the skin

• Porphyrins (acne-causing bacteria)

VISIA also provides your TruSkin Age®, which compares your complexion’s characteristics to other people of the same sex, age, and skin type.

How It Works

VISIA skin analysis is a fun, straightforward process that we often use at the initial consultation for our med spa patients. Your aesthetician will have you rest your chin on the VISIA system’s support pedestal. The camera will rotate from one side of your face to the other, capturing left, right, and front views of your face. Once the analysis is complete, your provider will review your results on the computer with you.

We use VISIA results to benefit you in two ways:

• Track your progress and treatment outcomes over time.
